From Speed to Sound: The Story Announcement

After a long and extraneous meeting of discussing how to market the car, I sat down with a single goal in mind; how to tell the story about the North American Eagle. The car has become a marvel of engineering in its own right. Numerous articles have been written about it in a multitude of different mediums. I wanted this one to be different. That’s when I realized that the story wasn’t really just about the car; it was about people. It was people who had taken a jet fighter and transformed it into a magnificent land racing vehicle. It was about people who built something so special, it takes one’s breath away the first time they set eyes upon it. It was all people.

Over the past month, we have been working hard to put this story together. Now, it is nearly complete. The story: From Speed to Sound — The Real Story Behind the North American Eagle. It is a six part series, starting from the day this project began up until the present day. Each chapter is told from a different person’s perspective, facing the emotions of every step on the road to breaking the world land speed record. While the project has always been about the car, at its core, it has been a story of the people that turned a dream into reality. From Speed to Sound with launch later this month, with more details coming shortly. The North American Eagle project has been a labor of love for everyone involved, and we can’t wait to share this story with you.
