Over the last 12 years our team has been fortunate to work with exceptional clients on a wide range of projects. As we continue to grow, we reflect upon some of our stand-out projects over the years.

Profitero — Breaking Data Analytics Norms

Profitero provides real-time eCommerce analytics, insights and recommendations across sales channels. This was Pilot’s first endeavor into branding an e-commerce analytics company, as the team developed a comprehensive brand development strategy.

“The project took us out of our comfort zone. It allowed us to expand our competencies while delivering an engaging final product synced with integrated branding elements and a cohesive, effective message.”

— Chris Antonowich, Director of Marketing

Star Wars Celebration — Honoring a Legacy Through Art

Star Wars Celebration is the premier fan event one of the world’s biggest movie franchises. Pilot developed the artwork for Celebration 2016. Art Director China Blue Rockett had this to say after winning a silver Hatch Award for her work:

“The project was a positive challenge, as it involved detailed styling for mixed media — it also led me to collaborate with designers and integrate different perspective in the final work.”

— China Rockett, Art Director

Bad Piggies — Giving the Bad Guys a Little Love

They are the bad guys in the mobile game that took the world by storm. When Rovio Entertainment, creators of Angry Birds, approached Pilot for their next project, Bad Piggies, the team was thrilled to get started! Team leader and Associate Creative Director Erik Weikert said;

“It was a huge collaborative effort, as the project involved everything from defining the brand and marketing guidelines, to developing an extensive collection of licensing artwork, to designing and printing the style guide and packaging.”

— Erik Weikert, Associate Creative Director

Nike Blue Lobster — Creating a Cult Classic

8 years ago Nike and Concepts came together to bring collectors a sneaker that is now a cult classic. It was a special project at Pilot, as we collaborated with one of most recognized brands in the world. It was also special for our Project Manager, Dennis Carroll, since he was involved on a creative level with this one. He had this to say:

“The reward was when we were done, I went to the Concepts store at Harvard Square at 5am on the launch day and saw a line of people around the entire block eagerly waiting to snag a pair.”

— Dennis Carroll, Project Manager

There is a feeling of nostalgia and accomplishment as the team reflects back on 12 years of amazing projects. Find part one of this series here and stay tuned for some more inside scoops and winning hoops from the team.
