Sun’s out
Sun on my face
Appealing to grace
Early morning walk
Meditative awareness
Smile and presence
Enjoyment in the moment in the steps

Walking
Nature
Getting my fitbit steps in
Determined with my goals
I CAN do this alone!
And by alone I mean…without a pill.
I can actually wake up, get dressed, lace up my shoes, walk in nature, feel the sun on my face…
Feel ALL of it
I was scared. Scared AF! So much fear in my head that I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed and make my way to a coffee pot anymore. But here I am… doing it alone.
Relief!
I don’t mean, I can do this alone — this new way of life
A sober way, free from pills, free from strife
For this I walk hand in hand with a tribe of support
I can do this
Everyday
This I know
.….. I think
……….I hope?
…………..I WANT so badly to agree with myself.
