The COVID-19 pandemic has brought long-overdue recognition of the critical role key workers play in supporting society and sustaining our cities. Thanks to their efforts, we can live as free, happy, educated, empowered and safe people.
We were all clapping when we needed them most. But what happens when the clapping stops?
We published Rise Up in 2018 to present the case for providing amazing homes for key workers. We felt compelled to republish Rise Up in 2020 to underline the shared sense of urgency to permanently improve the lives of key workers.
