Chris McDonald is a grad student at the University of Houston-Victoria where he is earning his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Along with roughly 200 other students, Chris has hunkered down on campus trying to focus on his studies and remember social distancing when his extroversion tempts him to hang out with friends.

Watch the video below to hear what it’s like being a student living on campus in the midst of a global pandemic.

The purpose of The Front Steps Project is to document the impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on individuals in my community. No one is exempt from being affected in someone by the fall out from this virus. This is history. These are our stories.
