Part of our Methodology series

Eating your own dog food, means using your own products. For Frontier Technology Livestreaming that means all the same principles about agile apply to the programme too. We’re continuously learning and considering how we might use our new insights to inform what comes next.

Calls are as treated Sprints

Frontier Technology Livestreaming will support 15 projects over the course of 3 calls for submissions. So we’re treating each of those calls as the programme’s Sprints.

Use the same artefacts

Our Sprint report covers a range of things that we set out to do and as we work through the first call. We’re collecting outcomes, the ways things played and how we will use that insight in the next call.

It’s a good way for us to experience the usability and usefulness of these artefacts first hand. Ultimately, if we don’t find value in using them, it’s likely our projects won’t either.

Sprint reviews

Our first Sprint review is coming up in the next week. It’s a chance for our whole team to get together to reflect and consider ways we might improve our work in the next call.

To prepare we’ve had a number of conversations with our own team and the projects’ teams. We’ve complemented these conversations with surveys (that can be anonymous should participants wish) that cover where things have gone well and where there is room for improvement. Once we’ve crunched through that data and reached conclusions at our Sprint review we’ll share how our methodology will change in the second call.

If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we might improve our method, let us know.
