See the story of the pilot and our insights on 3D Printing tech here
“A system that taps into networks of existing [3DP] capacity to allow larger orders to be fulfilled by smaller manufacturers as a group…is a way of doing business that could have profound implications for small and medium scale manufacturing in Nepal and beyond.”
At the Frontier Technologies Hub, we work with UKAid to explore how emerging technologies can help to solve the variety of challenges found in developing country contexts.
In this case study, we present the story and reflect on a completed pilot project from Nepal, which looked to see if we could grow the 3D Printing sector to improve humanitarian response in-country while creating jobs and livelihoods.
