Opportunity for an investment readiness expert to support our distributed manufacturing pilot in Kenya

We’re looking for an independent technical expert to support the development of one of our pilots: Manufacturing for the new frontier.

This on-going pilot is testing whether distributed, digital manufacturing can create more resilient, adaptive, and market-viable supply chains in Western Kenya. Kijenzi, an established digital manufacturing company based in Kisumu, is leading on the pilot’s implementation until April 2022.

In collaboration with the Frontier Tech Hub and FCDO Kenya, the independent technical expert will provide strategic advice and guidance on Kijenzi’s investment readiness in the Kenyan and East African markets. The expert will work closely with the team to determine financing options and help articulate a strategic roadmap for investments.
