Crop wastage in rural Africa is consistently measured at up to 40% and constitutes a significant loss of productivity, water resources and income potential. To help tackle that we are piloting Cold Chain Solutions in Zambia. Could you or someone you know help bring this to life?
This pilot seeks to create a sustainable, scalable “payment in increments” (also known as Pay-as-you-go or lease-to-own) business model for cold chain solutions targeted at smallholder farming communities. This will utilise refrigerated shipping containers as the default technology around which a business model is built 🆒
We are looking to work with mobile payments, technology, and (or) business solutions providers; as well as experts with a keen understanding of and interest in cold chain solutions and (or) smallholder farming in Zambia.
