Lady Gaga uses artistic wear from Spanish fashion maven for tour
The pop icon Lady Gaga recently wowed Instagram followers donning a Spanish master creation by Juan Vidal. Lady Gaga was utterly elegant in her asymmetric black dress with side openings and a single, long, domed sleeve. This is a part of the Autumn Winter 17/18 collection entitled “La belle Marie qui fume”. It displays a renowned mixture of styles evoking revolutionary twenties emanating refinement and coquetry. Adding flair to the appeal, Lady Gaga has also wore a composite jewelry headband artwork by Joanne Hynes.
Not the first time Vidal has been chosen by Gaga
It can be recalled that this is not the first time the singer chose a creation from Vidal. Back in 2015, she also posted two chic pictures in social media of herself wearing a Vidal pink sweater while gardening in her mansion.
Her penchant for Spanish fashion has been observed for some time by her avid followers. She was also seen previously flaunting brands like Andrés Sardà, Maya Hanssen, and Amaya Arzuaga. Her last performance in the latest edition of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show showcased a work by Yolancris.
The photos came after confirming the new dates for her concert
The Joanne World Tour kicked off last August 1, 2017, in Roger’s Arena at Vancouver, Canada with attendance of about 15,665 fans. The total revenue garnered is at around $1,430,667. But the show at Citi Field, New York City is the top grosser at $9,520,390. The show has 41 scheduled play dates on the list across multiple cities in both the U.S. and Canada.
The show has received various commendations and citations from the critics
A positive review from Josh Bell of Las Vegas Weekly wrote: “Even as Lady Gaga’s studio albums have become more scattered and uneven, she remains a fantastic live act, distilling the best of her music, her fashion sense, her vocal skills and her charismatic personality into a two-hour stage spectacle.” He added, “Gaga herself remained the most mesmerizing part of an impressively crafted show.”
Jon Caramanica of The New York Times stressed that the first part of the show was “disjointed, shifting styles and attitudes seemingly at random”, but Gaga later “struck a rhythm”. He also gave notice to the piano session writing that “Gaga was at home” with the instrument.
The powerhouse behind the show later announced that they would reconvene from January 14, 2018, in Barcelona, Spain and is scheduled to end the series of shows on February 23, 2018, in Germany.
