Check out this new book about the current state of JavaScript by Axel Rauschmayer. In this book you’ll know about all essential features of JavaScript, up to and including ES2018. Also there are plenty of test-driven exercises and quizzes for most chapters. Also all possible new JS features you might find in the short report of the last TC39 committee meeting.

Google has announced an alpha version of the WorkerDOM library. It allows you to work with DOM in a separate thread using the WebWorker API.

Dan Abramov shared plans of the React team for major changes to overcome the technical debt of the library. Soon we will see React Fire, as well as less bugs related to React DOM.

A small team of enthusiasts is working on the creation of a new browser Wexond. Nice UI, great performance and it is made with Electron and React.
