We are improving Froont on a daily basis. This is where you’ll find our updates big and small on what’s new regularly.

When a visitor looks for a page that doesn't exist, she will see a 404 error page. Now you can fully customize them for each Froont project you are building.

With a custom 404 message and you are less likely to lose those visitors who stumble across an error, or better yet — guide them back to the relevant part of your page. To create yout own 404 page simply create your project and add /404 to your domain — that’s it! Your 404 page is live:

Add /404 to your project's domain

Investing time in creating custom 404 page, has it's fair share of benefits, too. Having one can improve your visitor's experience, as well as your own:

  • They are helpful if you have any broken links on your site that you haven’t discovered which will, again, aid in crawlability and user experience.
  • Having a convincing or amusing message on your 404 page, will make your visitors stay a bit longer — use this time to help them in find what they are looking for.
  • They are a great “failsafe” mechanism for SEO as the default/generic 404 error page that gets displayed contains no links back to the site and can be a “dead end” for users
