Our new Revenue Stream and Partner is a new Miner inspired by FrostFlakes
Our first partner, bound by code, is inspired by FrostFlakes and will give us a perpetual revenue stream.
What is going on?
In a world where nearly every “successful” project gets forked, nobody has forked FrostFlakes yet. Why? Our optimistic hunch, and what we would like to believe, is that it’s because we are doing a superb job, and we have left little room for competition to directly compete with us.
There is a new project that isn’t quite a fork of FrostFlakes, but it has drawn inspiration from FrostFlakes and is our official partner.
While this article will not reveal the name of our new partner, nor will it go into the details of how their project works, it will unveil other juicy details regarding our partnership, how it came to be, and what it means for FrostFlakes, which we anticipate our community will greatly appreciate knowing.
We can confidently say that the team launching this new project has operated a wildly successful DeFi Miner before, and is extremely well known in this space. We are fortunate to be partenering with them.
Everything you need to know about our partnership
The codebase for this new project was built by us (specifically Jack, but since we are a team, and are both involved in the strategy of this partnership, I will refer to us as “we”). He is the one who wrote the source code of the project, and the source code was a fork of FrostFlakes. Jack was contacted to develop the new project. However, when the new project launches, and the contract is deployed, FrostFlakes will no longer be involved in the development of the project and will have no control or influence over the project’s codebase. “We” were brought on to develop the contract, because it is our existing codebase and we know it better than anyone.
How our partnership earns us revenue
In exchange for developing the source code of the project, FrostFlakes will be receiving a perpetual percentage of the team fees earned from the project. These fees will automatically be sent to the FrostFlakes owner’s address, which will then be distributed to our revenue streams, such as PCS, bots, or our contract balance. The fees we receive from this project are treated no differently than a portion of the deposits going to our revenue streams, as our project currently does. It is a new revenue stream that feeds our existing revenue streams, which are compounded and will be used to pay out future rewards.
Immutability
The new contract will start out as a proxy contract, to ensure there are no serious bugs or threats that are realized once live. Once the contract is stable, it will become an immutable contract.
In becoming immutable, FrostFlakes will secure a perpetual, immutable, income stream from this project, enforced by the smart contract itself, for the lifetime of the contract.
Timeline
The new contract is in the final testing stages: the contract has already been written, it is just being tested. The marketing, website, and social channels for the project are all being deployed and organized as well.
How similar is the new project to FrostFlakes?
It draws inspiration from FrostFlakes, however it is quite different and very much its own project with its own unique features. We were not involved in the determination of the features- only the development of them. We can’t say much more about the features of this new project at this time.

This new project is not our project. Although we are responsible for developing the source code, we can not control what happens with the project itself, how it is marketed, managed, and grows. As always, DYOR.
Why does this partnership matter?
This is hugely important for a couple of reasons:
- It validates the features of the FrostFlakes contract by a major player in the DeFi mining space
- It validates our team, specifically Jack, as he was personally requested to develop a fork of his own source code
- It creates a perpetually enforced partnership between FrostFlakes and this new project, unbreakable by code. This is DeFi!
We are extremely excited about being able to partner this way, and to create a trustless source of referral income while adhering to the ethos of DeFi. This is a new frontier for us, which we hope to continue developing moving forward.
