Snowbattle and Snowflake Lotteries: All Deposits can now win a bonus.
Lotteries are all the rage in DeFi, so we decided to integrate two of our own directly into our protocol, and we made sure to make them fair!
We are proud to introduce you to the latest and greatest from FrostFlakes: the Snowbattle (Max Deposit Lottery Competition) and Snowflake Lottery (Random Deposit Lottery).
Our lotteries will go live at 12pm PST, on Thursday, September 22.
5% Bonus on ALL Deposits and Airdrops
To accompany the release of our lotteries, we will be holding a bonus round as well: ALL DEPOSITS AND AIRDROPS will earn a 5% deposit bonus from Thursday, 12pm PST to Friday, 12pm PST.

New Features: Snowbattle Competition and Snowflake Lottery
The most important thing you need to know:
Only the first Deposit for a given wallet is now automatically entered into our new auto-recurring, 30-hour-long 1) Snowball Competition and 2) Snowflake Lottery. When one 30-hour round ends, another begins. Nothing extra needs to be done besides making a normal deposit/buying FrostFlakes. Again, this means the nature of buying FrostFlakes/depositing BNB has fundamentally changed.
What do the winners get?
Their is only a single winning deposit for each (two unique winners), and it is only the first deposit for a given wallet which is entered in the lotteries, and able to earn the following bonuses:
- 1) The Snowball Competition winner receives a 7% deposit bonus.
- 2) The Snowflake Lottery winner receives a 3% deposit bonus.
How does the Snowbattle Competition work?
Each deposit made earns Fighters. Whichever deposit earns the most fighters by the end of each round, wins. The number of fighters earned depends on the size of and time the deposit is made within each 30-hour round.
Fighters: 100 Fighters are gained per 1 BNB invested.
Multiplier: More Fighters are gained the earlier the deposit is made in each 30-hour round. This is to prevent sniping, so that whales can not simply wait till the last moment to make a large deposit and win the Snowbattle.
Here is how Fighter multipliers work:
1) Deposit in the first 10 hours of each round to receive 3X on Fighters gained.
2) Deposit between 10 and 20 hours to receive 2X on Fighters gained.
3) Deposit in the last 10 hours to receive 1X on Fighters gained.
This makes it very hard to snipe, because a deposit is at 3X reduced leverage if it is made at the end of the round. Rather, the Snowbattle incentivizes deposits to be made earlier in each round. Since each round is 30 hours, the opportunity to earn 3X leverage on your fighters is equally obtainable by all, regardless of your timezone/location.
The deposit with the highest number of Fighters earned by the end of each round wins 7% extra FrostFlakes on their deposit.
How does the Snowflake Lottery work?
A random deposit from each round will be selected to earn 3% extra FrostFlakes. The winning deposit can not be from a wallet that has already won the Snowball Competition.
Therefore, there will be two winners every 30 hours. The winners can be seen directly in the interface, at the bottom of the Snowbattle and Snowflake Lottery modules.
With the roll out of the Snowbattle competition and Snowflake Lottery, we are extremely excited to see increased deposits, and an ever-growing list of winners. Additionally, we are greatly looking forward to learning from the usage of these features, and will be keen on expanding on them in the future.
