Getting fit without spending a dime

When you work in an industry where you sit in front of a computer most of the day, getting a workout in may not always be on the agenda. That’s where I have currently found myself. Although I may be getting a ton of work done, my body isn’t moving as much as it should.

And that had me thinking — when people are in this situation, many will resort to buying gym memberships, workout subscriptions, and other things that get them moving. I’m always looking for a bargain, so I wondered if there was a way to get moving a little more without spending money that I may regret later, because as we all know, gym memberships are notorious for being a a good idea in theory, but a waste of money in practice when you can’t stick to a daily routine.

My goal is to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day without having to spend money. As it turns out, there are many options for guided workouts on streaming services — more specifically, free streaming services. This week, I’m starting a 13-day yoga challenge on Tubi. I have previous taken yoga classes, but it has been so many years that I know I’m probably not as flexible as I should be to start. We will see how it goes!

How do you make sure that you get enough exercise and movement in your life when you are stuck at a desk all day?
