This article will discuss kitchen sponges. Everyone likes to have clean dishes. Which means we need clean sponges. The good sponges can be expensive and hard to actually keep clean. What if there was a way to double the life of your sponge in one easy step?
There is such magic available! All you have to do is cut the sponge in half!!!!! I know some of you think this is a crazy idea. I thought the same thing the first time I heard this. But it really works. And the sponges in the half-size clean just as well if not better. I find that the smaller sponges fit better into hard to reach places and that after a few uses you do not even notice the difference in size.
The next trick is to buy better sponges. I personally am in love with the sponges made out of walnuts. I find them online and while they are a little pricey, they last for months, are easy to use, and cut in half, and they are non scratch, they also do not fall apart like the plastic based sponges do!! These sponges can also be put into the dishwasher for additional deep cleaning. You absolutely cannot beat the walnut sponges.
