What’s New In Midjourney’s Style Reference v2 and Why Is It Important?

🆕 Midjourney recently released a new update for style reference. Here’s what you need to know and how to use it.

The update improves Midjourney’s precision in understanding style and prevents non-style elements from flowing into your images. This enhancement was in my opinion overdue as the previous version sometimes used the wrong elements to style.

🖼️ What is a style reference?

For those unfamiliar, style reference allows you to adopt a style from an existing photo and apply it to your images or a series of images. If you desire a specific color palette or visual style, you can simply reference it.
