2017 China Field Research Video
FSI’s Summer China Field Research Trip offers a unique opportunity for students to work directly on applied field research projects with Stanford professor Scott Rozelle. Student teams travel with faculty during the summer in groups ranging in size from 2–8 students. Students develop their team projects on campus before departure, carry out research (interviews, data collection, analysis, etc.) in the international field site, and prepare a final report after their return. Projects focus on issues of chronic underdevelopment. Programs are open to students from all majors and class years.
