StarterStudio’s Community Presence

I make my way toward the co-working space with my playlist blasting to get me ready for the day. I park and prepare for the minor stroll toward the beautiful building on Garland Ave. As soon as I enter, I am cheerfully greeted by everyone in the building and already I know it will be a great day.

StarterStudio Staff & Members

One of the ways in which my accelerator builds community includes a welcoming environment of affable intellectuals who welcome open conversation and value instilling what they’ve learned through their experience to anyone interesting in listening. The space is filled with open desk space that allows anyone to walk up or stroll over for a quick question or conversation. Everyone is interested in how those in heir community is doing and that itself establishes a great rapport between StarterStudio and its community and members.

New Image Youth Center

Another instance of their presence in the community include multiple events ranging from workshops involving web development, human-centered-design, and youth engagement in business idea and customer development. Lunch and learns where any and everyone is welcomed to sit and listen, or even pop in for a quick introduction and bite. Founders talk by business owners, entrepreneurs, CEO’s and other knowledgeable individuals. Pitch nights and demo days where entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their business ideas and plans for a chance to receive funding to further their creations and visions.

SS & NIYC

These examples along with their ability to go out the way and connect those in need of additional resources provides an exceptional community for growth and prosperity.
