Orlando’s Ecosystem Strengths

The Metropolitan area in which Orlando is located is comprised of four counties that extend over 4,012 square miles. Seminole County, Lake County, Osceola County, and Orange County are all connected by an extensive highway. This city is high in possibilities for business development and launches, not limiting these to what the city is most popular for, Universal and Disney World. Orlando has an economy that is thriving in innovation, forming lasting connections and building strong networks so that everyone are aware of its many opportunities.

Demographics & Workforce

With a total population of around 2,497,377, the City of Orlando houses about 269,414 of that total. The age distribution for Orange County yields a higher percentage (30.5%) for ages ranges from twenty-five to forty-four years old, with a median of 34.7. The economic indicators such as workforce increased by 4.8 percent while unemployment decreased by 17.9 percent as of April 2019, according to Orlando’s Economic Development Data Center.

Community & Environment

As previously stated Orlando is a City bustling in resources and opportunities to meet new people, grow your network, exchange and expand knowledge, and to grow and accelerate your ideas and businesses. On a personal level, the community is a lively place to be for entrepreneurs and starters. There are incubators and co-working spaces available that offer guidance, assistance and has many partnering connections to help extend and execute any innovative creation.

With its concentration on improving as one, Orlando extends welcoming exposure to business idea developments, new and existing technologies, and networks of resources. All of which is shared throughout the its community, including those who are most limited to ensure everyone gets a piece of the pie and no one is left behind.
