Heading into Week 8 and I’m still amazed at the opportunities and accomplishments that happen here at the Wave. Being behind the scenes, participating in the setup and planning, then seeing it happened better than what is planned is remarkable to be a part of. We are one week away from the Tech Diversity cohort coming. In their visit, they have a week full of activities, include the Pitch Night that I am excited to attend.

The Tech Diversity Accelerator Program is attracting more companies to the Tampa Bay area. Since the start of the program and seeing the success of the companies who have participated in some of the other accelerator programs, there have been some companies that plan relocated their business to Tampa. This program also helps to continue to build diversity in the area as well. The Wave does host a free co-working day on the last Wednesday of each month to help fellow entrepreneurs connect and collaborate with other entrepreneurs who are building, launching, and growing startups in Tampa Bay.

Besides that, of course, they do host events that allow entrepreneurs to attend that will helps build their businesses. Whether they need networking, funding, mentorship, etc. to elevate their business, the Wave makes sure they provide events that will allow these companies to prosper.
