Will I get paid on a weekly or monthly basis as a remote worker?

It all depends on the company. In the past I worked remotely as a full-time contractor for a company that paid me every week. Now I work remotely as a full-time employee for a company that pays me twice a month.
If you are working remotely as a contractor (which is often the case for people outside the US working for US-based companies), you can expect to get paid once a week or once a month.
I have never heard of a contractor getting paid every two weeks. However, if you are working remotely as a full-time employee, it’s common for US-based companies to pay employees once every two weeks or two times per month.
