My honest thoughts about my friend, Baldeep Dhurkot. What are his good and bad qualities?
1 June 2022.
After a long journey, I reached Chandigarh junction. At the station, Baldeep and Guri were eagerly awaiting my arrival. I don’t know why but with Baldeep and Guri, I felt safe and secure.
On our way to the apartment, Baldeep told me that it’s gonna be a memorable day and soon after that we met with an accident. Although everything was fine, the car tire got punctured and we had to wait for half an hour for it to be fixed.
The way Baldeep handled the accident on my first day in Chandigarh made me feel safe.
Baldeep is always a great friend, but I didn’t realize what a great person he was until I met him face-to-face. There were almost two months left for me. So, I was able to observe both his good and bad characteristics more closely.
Who’s Baldeep Dhurkot?
A young, hardworking friend of mine. In his description, he described himself as an International Shopify Brand Developer.
Disclaimer: I don’t judge people and if I see one of my friends has some negative qualities, I tell them directly. Baldeep asked me to write about his good and bad qualities so he can analyze and understand himself better.
Baldeep’s Bad qualities
Baldeep is a control freak, he wants to control people and he also tries to manipulate people so that he can control them.
Even when he is wrong, he tries to prove what he thinks is right.
Another thing I dislike about him is that he talks about a lot of unnecessary things. No matter how many unnecessary speeches he gives, if you don’t listen to him, he will tell you:
“Listening to your friends makes friendships stronger”
Furthermore, he doesn’t like to travel alone and always wants someone to go with him. However, he cannot take photos or videos because he doesn’t know how to use a camera, and if I try to take photos of anything, he tells me to turn off the camera and spend time with him or just listen to his unnecessary speeches.
Although he has some bad qualities, he is still a great person, and he is an awesome friend.
Another thing I hate about him is his routine. He went to bed after 7 AM, which caused my routine to become the same. (huh! The 7 AM Club)
One of the main reasons I’m returning to Guwahati is this routine.
Baldeep’s Good Qualities
I have been living with Baldeep for almost two months now. As a fast learner, I realized he was very caring, disciplined, and a total clean freak. He likes things and our room to be extremely clean and tidy and spends a lot of time cleaning.
Among his colleagues and friends, Baldeep shares a lot of knowledge and experience about his work. He is genuinely interested in helping us grow.
In addition to respecting people, his capacity to network with people is commendable.
In addition, he speaks excellent English. I think it’s good, at least it works.
One day, I cried a lot because I missed home. In the best way he could, he comforted me by talking to me and letting me cry.
In addition to understanding people, he also knows how to react. As a mature person, he is capable of handling difficult situations and people in a mature manner.
The conclusion.
We live in a world full of good people. One of them is Baldeep. Every person has some good and some bad qualities. It is possible to learn a lot about people and ignore their bad qualities as well.
As with Baldeep, I learned a lot from him, but this time I didn’t ignore his faults. I told him about his good and bad qualities and even wrote this article about them.
