Whilst doing some recruitment for a New Fudos Chief User Experience Manager I stumbled upon a post from a UX designer in Netherlands

Nertherlands has been hailed as the new emerging startup capital of the world due to its skills, culture and Work/Life balance

I read the candidates profile and one thing stood out

Angelist

I then asked Maina, our Chef Backend Cook about EmberJs and the possibility of the Fudos team using it

“Yeah, it is interesting in a way but unless EmberJS has a clear advantage over angular i would not advice moving out of it. We are already using Material Design Language for our UI, it is backed by Google and has an active community around it and its getting better and better with each major release which occurs twice a year.

Also Material Design Language is backed by Google and to make it even better they are using a variation of Angular (AngularDart) for various internal project including YouTube, Adsense, Analytics and the new WebMaster. The other concern for frameworks is speed, which angular improved drastically in Angular v5 and has again improved in Angular v6 (soon to be released) and i expect that trend to continue all the way to Angular v7 (expected latter this year). Other than that, it has a lot of build tools, more are upcoming build tools and uses Typescript instead of JavaScript which improves code quality and is much much better. The other advantage is that it allows developer to write views in pure html which can’t be said about several other frameworks. All am saying is, since we already have a special team for IOS and Android Apps we should concentrate on using Angular on the our web apps and find people who are experts or knowledgeable in it and in future as the wheel turns we will make decisions as they come but i don’t expert Angular to wane any time soon.”

There you have it Angular is staying at Fudos until such a time a better technology emerges
