Shadowing

I am listening to an English audiobook on my iphone on my way home. I am trying shadowing, which is a method for learning English. Right after listening to one sentence, you repeat the same sentence as quickly as possible. I think this is a good way of learning English. However, I’m worried that people around me might think fo me as a strange man.
