A Few of Our Favorite B’s

In honor of hitting the 2,000 mark for total certified businesses in the world, Fulcrum wants to continue celebrating by sharing some of our favorite household #Bcorpbuddies! #Shopconsciously

Warby Parker

Warby Parker eye and sunglasses wants to disrupt the optical industry, ran by a few large companies that have kept prices artificially high, reaping significant benefits from customers with no other options for decades. Warby Parker circumvents traditional channels and engages with customers directly to design beautiful, prescription eyewear for only $95. And, for every pair sold, they provide a pair to someone else in need!

Method Soaps

Fulcrum purposefully selects Method for all of our office soap needs. This eco-friendly and design-driven soap has a mission to change business in the same way they take the dirt out of cleaning.

Products are designed to meet cradle to cradle standards–meaning they consider the past, future, and present implications in everything they do. Method relies on green chemistry to power the formulas used, relying on smart science by partnering with a third party science firm to ensure health and environmental safety. Packaging is designed from recycled plastic, and they partner with others to help reduce their carbon footprint at the end of their business production process.

Blue Avocado

Consider replacing your standard, disposable sandwich and Ziploc storage bags with reusable, Blue Avocado bags! With a deep commitment to sustainability, BlueAvocado believes reusability is key to preserving Earth’s natural resources for future generations. BlueAvocado knows that a little bit can go a long way, and promotes using recycled materials when possible and creating products that help consumers reduce their waste. Rather you need storage bags for food, cosmetics, or household items, Blue Avocado has a variety of shapes and sizes to meet your needs.

Seventh Generation

Seventh Generation is a leading brand of green household and personal care products. Established in 1988, the Burlington, Vermont based company remains an independent, privately-held company distributing products to natural food stores, supermarkets, mass merchants, and online retailers across the United States and Canada. We love their paper towels and toilet paper!

SOMA

SOMA exists to build a healthier, happier, well hydrated world by redefining how beverages are consumed globally. Soma is the smart, beautiful, sustainable water filter that simplifies your life. Soma partners with nonprofit, Charity Water, so that every filter sold donates clean drinking water to someone in need (directly impacting the 800 million people affected by the global water crisis). Soma’s filter cleans your water without using petroleum-based plastics or leaving behind nasty black flakes. Water, an omnipresent yet limited resource, deserves to be ubiquitous in every home around the world.

What are your products at choice for home or office?
