52 Week Photography Project — September 2024
Horses and a cow help to tell this months story
September has been a hectic month that included time in Warsaw with my wife’s ailing parents, travel to visit parents and granddaughter in Barcelona, and an end of month Mediterranean cruise. The hectic combination put me in the late delivery box for September. But better late than never is what they say.
With all that was going on, I did not have time to pick up the camera until the cruise. Which I should note is not always the best venue for thoughtful photography. The rat race of changing ports coupled with crowded tour buses to crowded venues leaves little time to plan an excellent shot.
So this month was on the fly. Luckily, there was an unplanned convergence of photogenetic livestock, city style, that allowed for a common theme matching the four weekly subjects. Horses in different venues were prevalent at several ports of calls, along with a well-known, at least in Spain, dairy cow.
All made for an interesting study of Europe from the perspective of horse and cow.
