September = 9
In numerology, the number 9 symbolizes the end of a cycle or a completion. As synchrony would have it, this aligns with a recent major life event. My current job came to an end, and a new one will begin in October.
Mixed emotions filled me on my last day. A heartfelt send-off by that team of people made me feel so appreciated. I’ll miss supporting them, yet I look forward to the new adventure that awaits me in my upcoming role.
№.36 || Bad
A few years ago, my neighborhood committee rallied to replace some of our cracked sidewalk squares with poetry-imprinted ones. I’m glad they won their petition, as these randomly placed verses add flavor to my walks.
Last week, I took a detour down a street I hadn’t walked down before and found this one. I chuckled as I read it.
In just a few words, it captured a bad day.
