Sometimes it’s good to break the rules and attempt something that’s not safe or predictable. In the above image of Sopot pier enveloped in Baltic mist, the subjects are positioned at the extremities, but there are also leading lines into a non-central point. Overall, a sense of things going on around an open space, perhaps?

I was late for my Polish class because the sea mist came in and I just had to make a detour to photograph the pier… Fortunately, the teacher accepted that as a valid excuse.

The mist that rolled in from the Baltic Sea turned everything to a pale sepia. I see a tribute to the human form in a ‘we have more in common’ kind of sense, maybe. The…
