Bird Photography: An Up-Close View
Photographs showcasing our avian friends flying a little too close.
It’s too good an opportunity to miss, and I obviously didn’t.
I have seldom shied away from accepting my limitations as a photographer, and also working towards improving further what I consider to be my strengths.
My biggest strength is, without doubt, the ability to set up frames. As such, most of my photo sessions involve spending ample time getting the frame right.
Having said that, no photographer, it doesn’t matter if the person is an amateur or professional, should have a rigid approach. On the contrary, it is flexibility that ensures the best shots more often than not.
Not long back, I came up with a photo essay that showcased a brown-speckled seagull in preparation mode. It was an impromptu exercise. Recently I came across another opportunity to capture birds on camera.
