Devoted To Spring, Something Purple, A Spotlight on Fashion
A 52 Week Photography Project | March
Spring rebirth—let go of yesterday’s winter, cold, death, snow. Adiós, au revoir, I felt my heart say, ciao.
Snow Glories are all the snow I need today. Across brown open fields, a breathtaking sight of early spring—thousands of tiny, bluish-purple flowers blooming hope with wild abandon.
Purple reminds me. I should carefully dig up the Siberian Squill mistaken for Snow Glories last year. Growing by the river, replanted in my garden — death. No creature dares touch any part of this plant. From leaves to seeds, it is highly poisonous to people, pets and wildlife.
Death brushed past me; I was oblivious then. Now, I suspect it is not a warning; perhaps it is a sign — change is in the air.
Spring:
a reminder of how beautiful
change can truly be.

All right, I am listening. In a flower shop, smiling, surrounded by daffodils, pansies, hyacinths and anemome windflowers.
Among early spring bloomers catching my muse’s eye is muscari, a flower resembling small clusters of grapes — something purple, vibrant, and bright for my front porch planters at the start of a new season.
