March Madness Means Madness

March Madness prevails. Not the basketball dribbling kind, but the firehose dysfunctional version coming out of Washington, DC. Forgive my mundane submissions to 52WPP this month. It’s the best I can do.

It’s an uphill battle- embrace the cliché.

Uphill battles are the name of the game these days. My friend Pat LaMarche and I visited Peru a few years back and she was trying to be funny — holding onto the edge of the rock in the Andes would qualify as an uphill battle. Fortunately she won.

A Fashion Ration- Interpret that as you will

This is fashion, I guess. Photo Diane Nilan

I have a foot fetish when it comes to other people’s shoes. The fashionable combo of the colorful Crocs, the crocodile sweats, and the colorful flowers caught my eye at our farmers’ market. It’s a great place to people watch!

Afraid Of The Dark- Interpret that as you will.

Darkness is scary for most people. The almost-absolute lack of light in this shot made me wonder why I took it. I would guess it was the tint of light in the cloud that spoke to me. An analogy for these times we’re now in.

Potentially Purple- Like the color, or

The search for a purple pic sent me deep into my flower collection (almost as copious as my flag collection). Amazing that I got any work done! No potential about it — this is purple, and the raindrop enhanced the color. Just think about the power of a drop of water!

This 52 Week Photo Project, while it took me a while to pull together, makes me appreciate those who do the work of producing it!
