New Year, New Photo Goals

My boy at 5 months old — Photo by author

I dusted off my camera, it hadn’t seen the sun in at least a month. I profusely apologized to my beloved Sony for neglecting her. You’d think a new puppy would have me snapping away but in all honestly, my puppy pulled me away from everything.

Mr. Rigby became my new obsession. I am still head over heels but we are on a looser leash now that he is 5 months old. Plus, he likes to take naps by my feet on the couch, so that time is always good to get back to my favorite hobbies — writing and photography (and editing while my butt is on said couch).

I am sad to admit that I fell off the challenge at the end of 2024, but there’s no use fretting for long. Instead, I am getting back up, throwing all my camera gear in a bag, and getting back at it with some little destination trips with my little pup.

Hopefully, I’ll complete all of 2025’s photo prompts this year unless I get another puppy. My new goal — take my dog out more with my camera backpack for no missed opportunities.

1-Keeping Time- Interpret that as you will.

This waterfall gave me hourglass vibes and the mental image that time may be running out.
