Remember, Edge of Time, Frozen, Never Again in Winter
A 52 Week Photography Project | January
Remembering
The blurry, frozen scene, indoors and outdoors, gave a sense of time on the edge. While pet-sitting, our worst nightmare happened: this adorable furbaby friend lay there, lifeless and unresponsive.
My daughter was frantic as I placed my hands over his tiny body, sending Reiki healing. But I immediately knew — he was gone.
This tiny soul’s passing was a shock, happening a mere half hour before they were due to arrive.
As we hugged one another, my prayer was for calm, peace, and the courage to handle this heartbreaking situation.
