Rummaging Through Photographs

Ah, September, beginning of fall, the weather changes and we get to see a different side of Mother Nature. Sounds nice but has nothing to do with any of the photos for this month.

To be honest, I struggled to find the matching challenges. No commonality there for this baffled bear as I looked for something bad, on higher ground, rummaging through the kitchen in a world of no color.

Luckily, September was a travel month, taking the long flight from Poland back to Santa Cruz, California. I watched the grandkids play volleyball and did my evening strolls down to the water. Further prompts were found during a unique celestial event and a late-night thrash in the kitchen gave me the final photo for this month.

Bad

The kicker for this one is “like Michael Jackson or not”. But forgive me, the song that pops into my head is not that. Rather, it is Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Bad Moon Rising”. It’s an odd combination of apocalyptic words and happy melody. The dichotomy seems to work, and certainly is a song that will stick in your head for days and days.
