I kid you not, the same night I borrowed my brother’s fancy Canon Rebel XTi DSLR camera, I stumbled across this 52-week challenge.

I’ve always had an affinity for photography but lacked the confidence to share that love through anything more than the camera on my phone.

I’m ecstatic to put my pointer finger and minimal photography skills to good use! I am more excited to compare week 1 to week 52 and see how we’ve progressed as photographers!

Growth — isn’t that what life’s all about?

Week 1: Everything Old Is New Again

Sometimes, my heart feels worn out and soggy like a cold waffle drenched in organic maple syrup. The year 2023 had its fair share of high rises and depressing grooves, but one thing is for sure: I am done waffling around in the new year.

Week 2: The Circle Game

I want to bask in the brilliance of posting a photo of my guitar this week, but the truth is it was a coincidence; I had never heard of “The Circle Game” by Joni Mitchel and had to look it up on Google.
