The 52 Week Photography Project (52WPP) is back by popular demand.

The concept is simple: create one photograph a week based on the criteria provided by the project. Rinse and repeat for 52 weeks. The project is divided by month. Each month contains 4 or 5 concepts for you to unpack. Submit your monthly project to Full Frame.

The concepts are based on song titles, book titles or random ideas designed to inspire you and expand your photography skills — by pushing you in new creative directions. You may be an enthusiastic landscape photographer who is asked to shoot “Banana Mania.” Or a dedicated street photographer asked to interpret “Blank Space.”

That is the secret sauce of the 52 Week Photography Project: you will become a better photographer by immersing yourself in these new experiences.

Our “rules” are pretty soft. Consider them “suggestions”:

  • Submit your responses monthly.
  • It helps us a great deal if you include “52 Week (month) Edition” in either your title or subtitle, as we like to post a monthly recap of your entries.
  • Add a couple of lines of text to your images to give them…
