There’s no shortage of camera options in 2023.

We have a glut of DSLRs across various price points and expertise ranges. You’ll also find many mirrorless and medium format alternatives on the camera market.

Then there are newer generations of your trusted workhorses promising more focus points, faster processors, and higher resolutions.

Oh, and we can’t forget the many veteran cameras that more than hold their own in the modern world of shinier companions, even if those oldies are slightly losing the fight.

Then there are cameras you love with your heart and still carry along because they are loyal servants.

That’s how best I can describe my Canon 60D, though it could just as easily fit the previous description.

Canon announced the 60D in 2010, and I guess I’m one of a few photographers still using it. (Shout me out if you still own/use one). I’ve been shooting with it since 2017, and I love it every day I use it.
