Oh boy, it was a month. Family drama can be all-consuming and something that I am sure I’ll write about when I calm down.

There was also a fabulous Oregon vacation and a beautiful time with my family. We also decided to get a puppy, which we anticipate getting in the next few months. Researching dog-related items and training is also all-consuming.

I am ready for a break, the fall when it’s time to relax and I love when it gets dark earlier. I might be the only one but I love the coziness of Fall.

Here are my hot takes from August. It’s short and sweet this month.

32-Main Street- Interpret that as you will.

Nothing like a cute little main street. We saw many this month in each town we were lucky enough to drive through. Rockaway Beach, Oregon, has a lovely main street with this old train that runs just for fun.

33-Lucky- Like Radiohead, or not.

While at the Japanese Gardens in Portland, which we loved, we saw so many bonsai trees. The ultimate lucky plant.
