In 2018, Arizona Democrats made history when we sent the first Democratic senator to Washington in 30 years. This year, with control of the White House, United States Senate, and Arizona State Legislature in play, the stakes are even higher. Our mission: to build upon our historic success in 2018 to elect Mark Kelly and Democrats across Arizona and deliver Arizona’s 11 electoral votes to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Who we are
Mission for Arizona is a joint effort by Arizona Democrats to elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Mark Kelly, and Democrats across Arizona in 2020.
In the wake of the pandemic, we moved our ground game online, and now, we’re using the internet to mobilize more voters than ever before. By unifying Arizonans across the state, Mission For Arizona will serve as Democrats’ central hub for resources, organizing, and political infrastructure — to elect Democrats that will fight for the issues important to Arizonans. Issues like: lowering the cost of health care, defending protections for people with pre-existing conditions, investing in education, and building an economy that works for everyone.
What’s at stake
Control of the White House and United States Senate could be decided by Arizona voters.
With Donald Trump still trying to take away health care coverage from almost three million Arizonans with pre-existing conditions, the Senate blocking legislation that would reduce prescription drug prices, and our state legislature failing to support our education system, we have a real chance this year to elect leaders who will fight for Arizonans, not special interests. That’s why we’re so proud to support Joe Biden for President, Kamala Harris for Vice President, and Mark Kelly for the U.S. Senate.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a plan to get COVID-19 under control, expand access to quality health care to more Americans, and build Arizona’s economy back better for working families.
As senator, Mark Kelly will work to lower the cost of prescription drugs, defend Social Security and Medicare from further cuts so that our seniors have a secure retirement, and work to ensure Arizona’s economy recovers by creating good-paying jobs for Arizonans.
It’s time we elect leaders that lead with compassion and who believe in science, data, and facts. That’s why we must elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Mark Kelly, and all Democrats down the ballot.

We take voter empowerment very seriously on our Mission For Arizona. That’s why we’ve made increased efforts to communicate with voters in both English and Spanish when calling them on the phone, when sending reminders to register to vote, and when sharing content online. We understand the diversity of our state, and we know it is what makes Arizona stronger.
Through unprecedented voter engagement, education, and mobilization virtually, we have built a grassroots campaign capable of electing Democrats up and down the ballot — but we can’t do it alone.
