New in FullStory: Session Notes

In the early 1800s an expedition was commissioned by the U.S. Government to explore the West and find a practical route to the Pacific. Long story short, over the course of 2 grueling years, Captain Lewis and Second Lieutenant Clark (with the help of Sacagawea, of course) did just that.

But what if, after all that they explored, they didn’t report back? What if they never wrote home?

Well, until today FullStory has really only helped you explore. Thanks to core features like instant Search and Playback, we’ve made it easy to dig into more data than you ever dreamed. We haven’t made it easy, however, to note your findings for the rest of your team to see. That all changes today with the release of Session Notes.

So, the next time you discover that broken customer experience, spot awkward pogo-sticking behavior, or catch even a fleeting moment of user/app harmony, click the Share button to add your thoughts. Your note will then be attached to the session (exactly where you want it, down to the second), and made visible to others in a new top-level place we call Highlights.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve used the heck out of this feature and learned quite a bit. And, of course, we’re already iterating on some enhancements to make it all the better. Because information sharing is such a core element to crafting delightful customer experiences, we’re excited to see what you do with this!

Now go blaze a trail through your customer experience.
