Try this Delicious Banana, Spinach and Protein Shake that packs a nutritional punch

You’ll love this morning breakfast shake so much you’ll be making it at all times of the day whether be as a post-workout protein hit, afternoon pick me up or even as a nutritious evening desert.

I’ve always been a big fan of Banana as a base for shakes since we picked up a blender many years ago, but this truly takes things to the next level.

We’ve hand picked ingredients so that you’re stocked up on a good balance of nutrients — packing in the protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc along with a dash of fats and carbs to keep you fuelled.

So… Pull out the Nutribullet with a 750–1000ml container and add:

  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 1/4 Cup of Yoghurt or Kefir
  • 1 peeled Banana
  • 1–2 scoops of Protein Powder
  • 1 generous tea spoon of Peanut Butter
  • 1 handful of fresh Baby Spinach

Give the mix a good blend for 30 seconds, inspect for consistency (you want it to be a silky smooth liquid and to be able to pour it easily) add a dash of water or more milk if required.

We’ve experimented with this a base for other shakes too, think about adding a few things from below to keep some variety in your smoothie regime.

  • Bee Pollen
  • Matcha Tea Powder
  • 1/2 cup of Coffee < This really works, trust me..!
  • Kiwi
  • Cottage Cheese
