f(x)NEER gears up to kick off a community-driven decentralized Marketing program

1 million USD worth of FX coins approved by the governance voting is now allocated to this program

Dear Function X members,

First of all, we would like to thank you for your participation in governance voting and your “YES” votes that made Function X Decentralized Marketing (a.k.a FXDM) proposal pass. 1 million USD worth of FX coins is allocated to this program. It is exciting news, especially for the community. We are now able to set up a mechanism to reward the community members for their quality contributions to growing the Function X Ecosystem.

Now that the proposal has passed, the next step for FXDM is to form a working group responsible for determining which submitted content will be eligible for the reward. The group members are called the FXNEERS (Function X marketing engineers).

As previously mentioned, the FXNEERS group will consist of 7 people, 3 from Function X / Pundi X staff and 4 community volunteers. The FXNEERS are not allowed to join this program as a participant or receive an FXDM award during their tenure (each tenure for the community volunteers is 6 months). Instead, they will receive exclusive FXNEERS personalized items, ex. t-shirts, mugs and backpacks to recognize their efforts. By excluding the FXNEERS from the participants of the program, we hope to maintain the integrity of the selection process as far as possible.

The FXDM is scheduled to run for 2 years, so we are expecting up to a total of 4 groups of FXNEERS. Today, we are proud to reveal the members of the first FXNEERS group!

The selected 3 members from Function X/ Pundi X are David Ben Kay, Judie Liu and myself, the 4 members from the community are Claudio, Scene, Telchar and Cryptowars. This group of FXNEERS will be responsible for reviewing and selecting high-quality marketing materials submitted for Function X official channels and/or Self-Owned / 3rd Party Channels submitted by content creators and community members.

By the end of each month, the top 10 contributors on official social media channels (Reddit, Telegram, Twitter and Function X Forums) will be selected by FXNEERS based on their activity. Once selected, a vote will be cast on Function X forums where the community will vote for the TOP 3 contributors who will be eligible for a reward.

The engagement and contribution of community members are crucial to the success of growing the Function X Ecosystem. Engagement includes sharing feedback on the forum and social media, educating users to know about Function X or reaching out to new Function X users or developers. With FXDM, we hope to encourage and reward the active and talented community members who contribute to the growth of the Function X network and raise awareness of Function X applications.
