f(x)Wallet Becomes the First Multi-chain Web3 Wallet to Support Indonesia’s Unified QR Code System, QRIS

The Function X Foundation is proud to announce that f(x)Wallet has been integrated with Indonesia’s QRIS Code. This integration allows users to seamlessly pay merchants supporting QRIS in Indonesia.

NB: All transactions are handled by our authorized wallet and exchange partners though f(x)Wallet. All transactions are settled in Indonesian Rupiah. Direct cryptocurrency payment and settlement are prohibited in Indonesia under current law.

QRIS Code, short for Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard, is a payment system that allows users to make payments by scanning a QR code using their smartphones. With just a few taps on their smartphones, users can make payments quickly and securely. This convenience has made QRIS code a preferred payment method for many individuals and businesses alike.

The introduction of the QRIS code payment system has revolutionized the way transactions are conducted in various industries in Indonesia. While customers can make payments using various payment applications, merchants will receive Indonesian Rupiah in a single merchant account. This technology has gained popularity due to its convenience, security, and ease of use.

By integrating QRIS Code, f(x)Wallet is able to expand the reach to both merchants and consumers in Indonesia. There are about 19 million merchants using QRIS Code accepting fiat payment. This includes restaurants, cafes and hotels as well as other brick-and-mortar stores.
