- Development Updates
a) Interesting statistics:
— Almost 50,000 new wallet addresses have been created in 2022.
— FX Swap TVL has reached $ 560,000 in 2 months
b) New f(x)Wallet update
We are currently testing the new feature of f(x)Wallet. This feature is special and f(x)Wallet will be one of the first (if not the first) wallet to implement this. The new feature will enable users to make payments at millions of merchants in the one of biggest countries in South East Asia.
c) FX Swap Farms
The FX Swap farms are currently live and the APY is high. Community members are invited to join the farms (https://twitter.com/FUNCTIONX_IO/status/1605482512829992962). In addition to that, we also added a feature where users can earn two tokens as rewards from the farms. It is implemented in the FX-FXG farm. - FXDM
A great year with plenty of submissions. Actually, there have been more than 500 submissions on FXDM with great content from the community varying from educational videos to in-real life videos and handmade creations.
Not only the community but the FXNeers have done a really good job grading the submissions and always contributing to improving FXDM.
Right now we have an ongoing campaign to win p(x)Card when submitting creations to promote the importance of self-custodial and hardware wallets.
Starting in 2023, we will have a framework, clear guidelines and ideas for the community to choose and create their content. - Updates from projects on Function X
a) Pundi X
- The recent release on XPOS — Cashier Pro, allowing people to pay for their goods using any decentralized crypto wallet. As of now, Cashier Pro supports BNBChain, TRON, Ethereum and Bitcoin Lightning Network to transact BTC, BNB, Ethereum and USDT.
-We are also becoming the first Web3 POS that the merchants will be able to use decentralized apps on XPOS so that both merchants and users can enjoy DeFi services on XPOS, including minting NFTs on chain and peer-to-peer transactions. More integration will be coming in 2023.
-p(x)Card, the most affordable and easy-to-use hardware wallet card, is under production now. Pre-sale and delivery will be in Q1. Some community members already won free cards. If you haven’t got yours, you can stand a chance to win one by participating in FXDM.
b) MarginX
- The 100-Day Incentive Program ongoing with 1.5m $FX left to be rewarded and will run until Mar 11.
- MarginX has added Aptos (APT) token on Testnet.
- Instant MXAlliance NFT (Starter Level-1) will be airdropped for new signup via referral links.
c) Baklava Space
- 300,000 FX provided to the project from the governance proposal will be allocated into the liquidity pool for FX-BAVA.
- Baklava team will provide additional tokens ($100,000 worth of BAVA) for the farming rewards on FX pools.
- Baklava team will choose two lucky winners in the Starscan forum with this criterias:
i) active users on Baklava Space
ii) follow and promote baklava space on Twitter
iii) give constructive feedback on the Starscan forum. Even though you have to try it in Avalanche, it will help us make the product better when porting to Function X.
d) Fox NFT Marketplace
- New launch date: December 31, 2022
- INO Platform (Launchpad) will be launched, and the first project is FOX NFT.
