Funderbeamer Awards!
This weekend during our team get-away on the beautiful Estonian island Muhu we recognized two special individuals who enrich our product and our work lives.
At Funderbeam, our internal priority is to foster an environment to retain and empower our team members. In doing so, a lot of work, cooperation, and hiring “the right people” is required. But in the end, this effort is often rewarded ten-fold.
So, as we enjoyed a few days of playing sports, wandering outdoors, and enjoying delicious food — we also voted for the Funderbeamer who has displayed continued excellence in their role, maintained a positive and productive attitude, been an example for others to follow, helped others, and or made a significant impact on the company as a whole.
As a reward, the Funderbeamer chosen will receive an inter-Europe trip to a conference or career-improving related event!
With so many people producing consistently great work and contributing greatly to an incredible work environment, the options to nominate were significant. This was likely a reason why there happened to be two Funderbeamers chosen for our 1st Funderbeamer Award: David Musu and Timo Petmanson.

Timo is one of our Data Scientists and an avid musician. You can listen to a number of his compositions on Soundcloud! His favorite movie is The Matrix, he’s an incredibly talented foosball player, and he is easily one of the most positive people we have ever had the pleasure to meet. David is our Investor Relations and Customer Support manager and is our favorite man from Malta! He is also a regular foosballer but in addition, David enjoys swimming, hiking, and orienteering.
