We picked up five pitching companies who are looking to raise in the Defense and Security Sector. Please find below the bios of the companies.

Born out of our common, high-performance light jet design, our Basic and Advanced Jet Trainer variants provide outstanding aircraft performance. Whilst incorporating contemporary training systems and a digital avionics system to supply first-class training & information for modern fighter pilots.
Delivering a complete flying training system, the Aeralis variants share 85% parts commonality, delivering more than a 30% through-life cost saving compared to benchmark systems. Combining the A and B variants ensures our customers receive significantly shorter overall pilot training times as well as exposing students earlier to more complex mission management training through configurable cockpits and a fully tailorable flying training system.
Aeralis is also now developing other variants for specific user requirements based on the same common architecture for roles such as Unmanned ‘Drone’, Unmanned Combat Aircraft & Aerobatics.

AnsuR
Mission-Critical Visual Communication with 99% bandwidth savings
AnsuR is a Norwegian company, with offices in Oslo and Barcelona. The company has 11 employees and won significant research grants for developing scalable mission-critical visual communication software solutions. Our target users are concerned with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, needing real-time or rapidly available geo-spatial, high precision photo or video via, bandwidth-limited satellite or radio networks. As both resolution and number of cameras grow, there is an increasing radio/satellite communication bandwidth gap. AnsuR provides software solutions that can save 90–99% bandwidth, cost and transfer time, yet allow users to see the relevant content in highest precision. We have successfully flown our solutions in tactical drones with satcom, won the AIRBUS critical App certification, US Marines says “amazing technology”, and UN is using us to save lives. The business model is software subscriptions and can be targeted to different sectors. AnsuR is a Techstars Allied Space Alumni. We are looking to grow our business.

Oxford Dynamics
Oxford Dynamics is an Oxfordshire based start-up focused on the development of intellectual property for the protection of air and space assets, both for commercial and defence applications. An existing contact is under way with the UK MoD to explore novel drone technology. Furthermore, a modular set of nascent technologies for the protection of on orbit assets are in development. The founding team has a track record of agile technology development and delivery in the space & defence sectors. It also enjoys international recognition for its achievements. The company is revenue generating and profitable via a range of consultancy, grants and contract wins.

Satellite VU

Satellite Vu is going to launch a small constellation of thermal infrared satellites, which will gather temperature intelligence into any structure on the planet. We will do this up to 20 times/day at 3.5m resolution. Small structures will be visible enabling new and valuable insights into economic activity, energy efficiency and maritime activity. This will enable better business decisions.
