Welcome to the Talent Takeover; a blog series aiming to demystify what life is like at Funding Circle!

To those that need a refresh, Funding Circle connects small businesses to short-term and long-term finance options through its lending platform. We’ve been able to reshape the landscape of SME lending through both cutting-edge data and technology. This technology powers our lightning-fast decisions and provide our customers with an unbeatable experience (plus their much needed funding!).

The Funding Circle mission is what drives the business everyday, a mission to support small businesses and no small feat that is, it is 99% of businesses after all!

In this blog series we’re going to share more about the vibrant, mission-led and rewarding work environment at Funding Circle. We will promote life at FC with spotlights on our benefits, culture, product and individual ‘Circler’ experiences.

In the hope of not leaving anyone hanging for too long here’s a few initiatives we’ll be letting you in on:

1. Build Your Incredible FC Life — the benefits proposition at Funding Circle that works to support our Circlers both in and out of work. It’s anchored around four pillars: Health, Wealth, Development & Lifestyle.
2. Circler Communities — the Circlers and the Circler-led groups that bring all of our diversities together. These groups asking the difficult questions, provide a forum for camaraderie but also for education and for change. They provide a place for all backgrounds and lived-experiences to flourish at work.
3. The FC transformation into Multi-product lending — how we make decisions and pivot quickly working in cross-functional teams and agile ways of working to deliver fast, deliver better and deliver right.
