Know thy audience!

How to communicate an idea, a message, a product, or a service across to your audience in a simple and powerful way?

Our brain constantly filters and categorizes all incoming information to determine whether this info is useful and relevant to what we are interested in or to help us move forward towards our goals.

Here’s the problem; what you think isn’t necessarily what you say, and what your audience hear isn’t necessarily what they understand, by that I mean; you could have a great product or a service and you’ve identified your audience, however sometimes; your audience doesn't seem to be engaged.

Communication is art! your message has to be delivered to the receiver in a format that he/she understands and not what you think they should understand, and if that message is to a small group or even to a large audience, you need to first think about how they communicate between themselves, and what visual or lingual keywords and references they mostly associate with. why? you want to draw their attention first! you need to make them feel home with your message!

To effectively deliver your message across to any audience; find out what they talk about and what they are interested in, because this where you get their attention, then, deliver your message in their own language, in the language they communicate between themselves, finally, show them how your product and service is useful to them.
