The pitter-patter of rain on my rented window is driving me insane. The rain. A harsh reminder of the pain I fled in my early days. Those days when I was lost in the mud of confusion and malpractice. I just wanted my work to be noticed. I just wanted a chance. I wanted to be seen.

As a dyslexic screenwriter, I was over the moon at Disney’s wise, brave, and original decision to give directing and writing jobs to people based on who they fuck. I knew it was just a matter of time until this fairness trickled down to the gutter where I could slurp on its magic nectar and finally get a shot of having one of my screenplays accepted.
Simple economics if you take the time to think about it. Surely, the dyslexics would be next.
